Croatian Central Banker Vujcic Takes Over as ECB Vice President Following De Guindos’ Departure

Boris Vujcic, a Croatian official, took office as the new Vice President of the European Central Bank, succeeding Luis de Guindos from Spain who completed his eight-year term. Vujcic now occupies the office on the 40th floor of the ECB tower in Frankfurt, near the office of ECB President Christine Lagarde.

New analysis indicates the exchange processed approximately $7.6 billion in high-risk Russia-linked transactions.
