Barclays has issued analysis suggesting that the largest technology companies are borrowing more than anticipated to finance artificial intelligence infrastructure investments, particularly data centers. The analysis warns that the investment-grade bond market may lack sufficient capacity to accommodate all of these financing requirements from Big Tech.
