Kraken has introduced US-listed stock trading for customers in the European Economic Area, enabling them to buy and sell conventional US shares as well as a wide range of tokenized xStocks via its European platform.

Kraken, the cryptocurrency exchange, launched a service that lets retail investors buy tokenized shares of the Jersey Mike’s restaurant chain’s initial public offering. The tokenized shares are fully collateralised by the actual stock, and the offering is open to eligible US users as well as customers in over 110 countries worldwide.
