Spanish Ibex Index Extends Rally as Puig, Sabadell and Amadeus Surge Past 9% in August
The Spanish Ibex index rose 0.97%, extending a five‑month rally, driven by strong gains of over 9% in August for companies such as Puig, Sabadell and Amadeus. The index is up 17.15% year‑to‑date and 15.41% since the start of 2026, now only 1.2% below its record of 20,213.6 points set on 11 September 2026.
