PureStream, a North American alternative trading venue, has grown its market share by using a unique liquidity‑transfer rate model that references real‑time last‑sale prices rather than the NBBO. Nasdaq, an investor in PureStream, plans to roll out the technology in Europe, extending the venue’s reach to over 1,200 heavily traded shares on 13 European markets.
