European Banking Consortium Wins Dutch Approval for Euro Stablecoin Issuance
The European bank consortium behind a euro stablecoin, including CaixaBank, BBVA, Banco Sabadell, Bankinter, Abanca, Kutxabank and Cecabank, received e‑money institution approval from the Netherlands’ central bank, enabling the issuance of electronic money tokens.
