Turkey Establishes Settlement Oversight Council Following Stock Exchange Manipulation Concerns
Following suspected price manipulation on the Turkish stock exchange, numerous investment funds have run into payment problems. To protect affected investors, the Turkish government intends to set up a new council that will oversee fund settlement and ensure investors’ rights are safeguarded.
